German dominance in dressage - 5 and 6 year old young horses

On Saturday the dressage finals were organized at the III. World Championships for young Horses, in Mezőhegyes, Hungary.

In the 5-year-old horses category the SATHU heavy horse, TARA is the winner with Karl-Heinz Finkler (8.08 points), Germany. The German sporthorse, DA VINCY finished on the 2nd place (8.0 points) with Bettina Winkler from Germany. Karl-Heinz Finkler’s second horse Tito Hedegard was the third best in dressage with 7.5 points. Twelwe horses compete in this category. After tomorrow’s combined event we will see, who’s going to be the World Champion of Mezőhegyes.

In the 6-year-old horses category the colourful Trakhener, Sky-Dweller performed a 7.71 dressage programme with Marie Tischer representing Germany. Tischer was driving FORTINO, as well. The German sporthorse got the second place with 7.57. The Lipizzaner grey gelding, INCITATO XIV-48 with Andrea Dobretsberger, Austria, got the 3rd place (6.86 points).
